What Personal information is collected

In a normal case, CryptoBTC Mag (“Site) is not collecting any personally identifiable information. However, there are some cases where CryptoBTC Mag might need visitor’s email address in order to perform a service (ex. Newsletter, Submit a story, Contact form, etc.).

In such cases, the email address will be explicitly requested and the visitor notified. Once collected these emails are used for the sole purpose of the function intended by visitors. They will not be passed to any third party.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Cookies
